Twist of Lemon

I wish I had been able to take a picture while driving back home this weekend down Hwy 52, but I am not that coordinated. So you are going to have to imagine the scene. I think it was somewhere between Coates and Cannon Falls that I saw a sign on the west side of the road announcing “Cement Lawn Ornaments For Sale.” The funny? Directly underneath the sign was a table with about five cement blocks upon it.

Just go HERE and laugh your ass off!

It seems like it is for a good cause, but people put webcams on really strange things.

Oh crap I cannot believe a cheese has 1206 friends on MySpace! That is about four times as many as a certain “BearHeadedGirl” I know, and like 120 times as many as I have on that site.

Well I am done with fall cleanup this year.  If you own a home with a lot of mature trees I highly recommend buying a leaf blower/vacuum, mine saved me about half a day of work if not more.  I did get quite the surprise when sucking up the leaves with the new toy.  I found what I thought was a stick blocking the end of the vac, but it was really a foot!  Yeah somehow without realizing it I had raked up various pieces and parts form a dead crow.  I only found that foot and one wing, so I have no idea what happened the the rest of the little bugger.

Next time you feel a bit overweight take this little factoid to heart: There are more microbial cells in the human body than human cells. Too bad the fat cells still make so much weight.

I subscribe to a food safety listserv that send clipping of relevant news stories to me daily. I think I just came upon my favorite. This article on the “12 Germiest places in your life” isn’t really before dinner reading material but it does contain some good information. It also includes my favorite quotation for the week: “there’s about a gram of feces in every pair of dirty underwear.”

There is a character by the name of TeeTee [yeah you can't make stuff like this up, gotta love the Japanese] in the game. And you know what?
