The Plague

angelWell now Dad is sick.  There is nothing more terrible than getting your own father sick after he has been helping you all week packing up your stuff to move.  And it appears to be treating Dad even worse than it did Brian or me.  It is probably worse for him since he was tired from all the packing.  I can only imagine that Mom will get it once Dad goes home.

I’ve seen these microbe stuffed toys before in trade magazines and thought they looked like fun. Who wouldn’t want to get their kids or pets some toy gonorrhea to play with?

I subscribe to a food safety listserv that send clipping of relevant news stories to me daily. I think I just came upon my favorite. This article on the “12 Germiest places in your life” isn’t really before dinner reading material but it does contain some good information. It also includes my favorite quotation for the week: “there’s about a gram of feces in every pair of dirty underwear.”
