GTKY 8 Music Edition
Thursday, November 29th, 2007Do you have a particular type or style or theme to the music you like best?
I realized today listening to the Current that most of my favorite songs have lyrics that are very much prayer-like. It was while listening to “The Prayer” by Bloc Party that I had this epiphany.
Just plain wrong
Wednesday, November 28th, 2007So while loafing around with the T.V. on I see a commercial for the latest crap movie, the sequel to National Treasure. As I am trying to ignore the preview for this piece of trash I see none other than Helen Mirren out of the corner of my eye. Couldn’t be, I think. Well I was wrong, as you can see here. Why I so very!
Tuesday, November 27th, 2007When did clerks start getting over-familiar?!? The other day I was minding my own business, picking up milk at the local quickie mart, when the guy behind the counter says “Have a nice day, Bob.” Ok first of all did you just call me Bob?!? And why are you getting my name off my debit card, that seems really creepy. If you are going to try and foster good will with me as a customer, why don’t you try using my real name, Mr. Wagner! No where on my card does it say “Bob” and so help me God it never will!

And I need to find a new position [still hoping on that one in Seattle] and get the house ready for sale. And my biggest fear is that we will lose money on the house and not be able to get a house wherever we end up one the job hunt is over.
It’s a gas! Modified atmosphere packaging…
Thursday, November 15th, 2007or using carbon monoxide to keep meat looking fresh. There is a large ruckus going on right now in congress and the food industry about this process. Basically carbon monoxide [CO] is added to the air in meat packaging to keep the meat looking red and palatable. Research has shown that this process does not cause food safety concerns and even retards the growth of spoilage organisms. So what is the problem?

Thursday, November 15th, 2007It seems like it is for a good cause, but people put webcams on really strange things.
Oh and don’t forget to check out Wedginald’s facebook and myspace pages!
Oh crap I cannot believe a cheese has 1206 friends on MySpace! That is about four times as many as a certain “BearHeadedGirl” I know, and like 120 times as many as I have on that site.
